We give one year warranty for the glue seam, provided that all recommendations regarding the use of the instrument were followed.

What about coating and rust protection?

There is a thin protective layer on the surface that also gives color to your Pulsar. But you must care for your Pulsar as for any other handpan-style instrument.

How long does Pulsar hold the tuning?

If it is operated under normal conditions and has not been damaged, then the tuning remains the same with time. We would like to warn you that Pulsar is intended for playing with hands, it means that playing with mallets, sticks and anything else can damage the instrument tongues, which can lead to tuning shift. If you prefer playing with mallets, try to play softer.

Operating recommendations?

Perfect temperature conditions for our instruments is -50 to +80 degrees Celsius. Higher temperature may cause the decrease of glue’s adhesive properties. Therefore, we do not recommend keeping Pulsar under direct sunlight for a long time. It is recommended to store an instrument in normal humidity, because continuous contact of steel with water can destroy the protective coating and cause corrosion.

Can I play with sticks/mallets?

We would like to stress that Pulsar is intended for playing by hands, and playing with mallets, sticks, or other things could damage the instruments tongues, which can lead to a shift in tuning. If you prefer playing with mallets, try to play softer.

How do I take care of the instrument?

Depending on how often you play, you should take care of your Pulsar in order to keep it in perfect condition. This process can be divided into 2 stages. The first stage is cleaning: with a soft cloth and alcohol or degreaser you should remove the dirt. The second stage is an application of protective lubricant. We recommend using Gunex 2000, Froglube, WD-40 but you can use any handpan care product.

Where do I store my Pulsar?

You should cover its surface with a protective lubricant and leave it in a dry, ventilated place.
